The announcement

In August 2026, Parts Town, the distributor of parts for the foodservice and residential appliance industries, announced it will lease roughly 538,000 square feet of warehouse and fulfillment space at the Jackson 85 North development near Pendergrass. The company describes the site as its largest global fulfillment center, with robotics and automation designed into the space.

Distribution employment is steady and shift based, the kind of job base a commuter corridor counts on day to day. The facility sits on the same I-85 node that serves freight between Braselton and Commerce, and it is a quieter echo of the corridor's bigger industrial announcements: viable, incremental, and easy to underestimate.

Where it sits in the map

Pendergrass is the next node building out on the corridor freight line, and it sits in the same 25 to 30-minute ring from Mulberry as the new Siemens plant. The Jackson County page and the employer and commute table keep the full picture against the other I-85 anchors.
